Africa Special. The Africa Special is a Top Gear special in which Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May attempt to find the true source of the River Nile in secondhand estate cars on a budget. It was the first special in Top Gear history to be split into two parts and air across two episodes, airing as the sixth and seventh episodes in.

It'd also doesn't make sense to find the source just way further south, because as it was said in the film, the Nile is mainly sourced from the lake Vic and the lake Vic is fed by multiple rivers. The experts (grudgingly) agree that the main source of the Nile is Lake Victoria. Still, can't take the fact that this episode is still in my top 3.

For the Top gear special they redefined the mouth of the Nile from its delta in Egypt to the Strait of Gibraltar where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic. Using that definition of the Nile's mouth the streams on the East side of Lake Victoria are suddenly the candidate sources instead of those on the West.
